Appearance: Sirius stands about 5'10 tall and holds an unmistakable air of regality about him. He has longish, straight, jet-black hair that reaches to his shoulders and typically wears it down in hopes of aggravating authority figures. He has dark grayish-blue eyes and sharp, angular features with high cheekbones; he is extremely good-looking on a sort of general note. Sirius is thin, and distinctly un-athletic, not having much use for physical activity that doesn't involve running around in the shape of a giant black dog. Despite this, he carries a grace and economy of movement that is perhaps not as masculine as he'd like to think. Typically, he wears long, black wizard's robes of the highest quality, as are the tediously neat school uniform worn underneath them (although at this point his clothes may be becoming a bit ill-fitted seeing as he has not been able to procure new ones since his leaving home). The uniform consists of black trousers, a white button-down Oxford, and gold and red Gryffindor House insignia tie. The outfit is completed with matching black leather shoes and belt.

Personality: Snobbish, but not overly mean. He's a desperately loyal friend to anyone he deems worthy, which… isn't very many people. Namely one person so far (James Potter). He knows he's hot and probably thinks he's hotter than he is. His favorite things are danger, risk, seducing unsuspecting (and often also suspecting) bystanders, and getting what he wants. Despite being a complete asshat (in the Entitled Teenager sense), he hates things along the lines of evil and dark magic, especially if they remind him of his home life at Number Twelve, Grimmauld Pl. or his family. If something involves rebellion, count him in. He tends to be rather infuriatingly convinced that he's more attractive, more talented, and generally better than most everyone.

Abilities/Strengths: HP-verse magic, which he's quite talented at. His specialties under this heading include Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration. He is also a top-notch duelist with a wand for his age and is known to be one of the cleverest wizards in his year. As stated above, he is incredibly loyal friend and companion, which only serves to amplify his abilities as a wizard when those he cares for are in danger or need. Through exhaustive efforts at the age of fifteen, he became able to transform into a large black dog at will. The dog itself has general doggish powers including chasing sticks, wagging, and leaping on people with perhaps some mauling of the ones he doesn't like. Another noteworthy ability would be to uncannily evade even the most forbidding authority figures and get into mischief of epic proportions. In summation: troublemaking.

Notable Possessions: His wand; a knapsack containing one bottle of change-color ink, two quills, four rolls of parchment, The Standard Book of Spells (Grade Seven), Advanced Transfiguration, and Advanced Potionmaking; one of a set of two hand-held mirrors used for communication between himself and James Potter.

Weaknesses: Sirius' first notable weakness is his narcissism. This is mostly because he doesn't see himself as capable of fault as other people. He may be talented as a wizard and troublemaker, but he tends to forget that this does not exempt him from some monumental screwups. Some of these screwups include but are not limited to the near death of him and his friends, the near murder and/or accidental deaths of some fellow students, considerable destruction of property (not his), fire, havoc, and possible unfettered mayhem.
Where most people see vanity as a possible character flaw, Sirius manages to take it to a real Old Testament sin level. Also noteworthy is his maturity level, or lack thereof when it comes to most things not concerning him. Added to this is his love of risk-taking conjoined with his blatant disregard for 99% of life forms. Not that he wishes them harm (okay, no. Sometimes he really does), it just doesn't occur to him to notice or care. He has the tendency to be a bit of a haughty prig.
His greatest weakness, however, would be his not having a wand. He has absolutely no idea about muggle technology or anything related to it, and without his wand he would be virtually helpless. This may be only slightly diminished since his first stint in Econtra, during which he procured some limited knowledge of muggle gizmos.

History: Sirius was born into the extremely old, regal, and rich Wizarding House of Black. He was the prodigal son until he began showing telltale signs of being… different. Namely his acceptance into Gryffindor House at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at age 11 when all the other [acknowledged] members of his family had been notoriously of Slytherin. Up until this time, he was raised primarily under his mother's tyrannical influence, so he came out pretty well, considering. He has a younger brother, Regulus, who is the picture of Black legacy incarnate. They aren't on overly fond terms, to say the least.

Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Sirius befriended James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. He bonded most deeply with James, and for a couple of confusing adolescent years, this friendship had some grey edges. Sirius returned home for all school holidays until last summer when he had a row with his mother on truly epic proportions and he skipped out to take residence on James' couch. After several years' work, Sirius procured the ability to become an Animagus. That is, he can turn into a dog at will. He did this on behalf of Lupin, just going to show how far his loyalty to his friends stretches (the procedure is dangerous bordering lethal or worse, which probably made it more appealing in Sirius' case). After a brief (and mercifully vague) stint in Econtra nearly a year ago, Sirius has been contentedly ensconced in the beginnings of his final year at Hogwarts.
